Initial Consultation

Prospective clients are offered a free initial telephone consultation. The consultation usually takes between 30-40 minutes and is booked in advance at a time that most suits you. In addition to collecting necessary contact details and medical information the consultation provides us with the opportunity to talk about your therapy requirements, establish which therapy is the most suitable for you and determine whether we believe you can action the change(s) and meet your goal(s).

Half-hour face-to-face consultations are available upon request at the clinic of your choice at the charge of £30.

Subsequent Sessions

Once your goal(s) and desired outcome have been clearly established and you are satisfied with the suggested therapeutic treatment plan, we will proceed to booking your first appointment. Whilst every effort is made to offer you an appointment at the most convenient time for you, your patience is requested as the clinics are often very busy at certain times, especially at the end of the working day and early evening. Each session lasts for 50-60 minutes and the frequency of sessions will be agreed between the practitioner and the client prior to the commencement of therapy.

Confidentiality

All sessions are conducted in confidence. This confidence will be maintained and applied to any records or information given in accordance with the Data Protection Act, except in exceptional circumstances such as where the client gives his or her permission for the confidence to be broken i.e details are passed on to an associate to assist with the client's treatment plan, where the practitioner is legally bound to do so or where the information given is potentially dangerous to the client or to another i.e suicide, serious criminal activities.

Changes and Cancellations

I will try and be flexible if you need to alter the time of day of your appointment. The clinics request that clients give a minimum of 24 hours notice for the cancellation of sessions except in very exceptional circumstances.

For cancellations of less than 24 hours it is requested that a £25 cancellation charge is paid.

Number of Sessions

Clients will be advised as to how many sessions the practitioner feels the client may benefit from having, however clients are under no obligation to stay in therapy. There is no limit on the number of sessions that a client can have as long as both the client and practitioner feel that the therapy is of benefit for the client. Upon ending therapy, clients are requested to give a minimum of one week's notice. Location

Sessions take place in safe, professional environments in Altrincham, Lymm, Sale, Gatley and Hazel Grove. Clients are free to attend sessions at any one of the clinics listed above. There is ample parking at all clinics.

Client and Practitioner Responsibility

Although therapeutic methods may be suggested by the practitioner ultimately the client is responsible for his or her own health and well-being.
